About Me
Well I live in the UK in a county called Devon.

Why day trading? It was a friends fault. He was buying and selling shares over the telephone and then I was hooked. I booked a TA course up, not brilliant one but enough to get me started.

Then I started trading FSTE index buying shares long as it was very difficult to get a margin account to short. The first month was great I made about 5k in the first month. Then I thought that I could give up my job and start day trading. Boy was I wrong. I wiped out my profit and then proceeded to make a small loss. Luckily I releazied that the UK market was the wrong market to day trade because of
- 0.5 % stamp duty. You have to make a 0.5% profit + trading expenses just to break even.
- you have to buy at the ask and sell at the bid
- follows the NASDAQ but so hard to keep positions open over night.

Now I trade the NASDAQ only.
